Install & Run

The Multiplayer comes whith the Multiplayer and CharacterController Asset in Unity Asset Store. See https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/slug/223735 for download Link in Asset Store.

Register Scenes in Build Settings

Goto File –> Build Settings…

Add all three Scenes you see in the picture below to the build settings. Make sure that the LoginScene ist at first place.

Open The Player Settings and set the run mode to “Windowed” and “Resizable Window”.

Close the Project Settings.

Run Three Instances

Hit “Build” and wait until everything is built into the folder you selected.

When it’s done, start four instances from the executable.

On the first Instance choose “SERVER” from the first dropdown, the scene “MultiplayerPlaygroundZone” from the second dropdown. Press “START”. This starts a server

On the second Instance choose “SERVER” from the first dropdown, the scene “MultiplayerBlablaZone” from the second dropdown. Press “START”. This starts the 2nd server.

On the third instance choose “CLIENT” from the first dropdown, the scene “MultiplayerPlaygroundZone” from the second dropdown. Leave the name to “NOCAZONE” and press “START”. The NOCAZONE Player should be visible now.

On the fourth instance choose “CLIENT” from the first drop down, the scene “MultiplayerPlaygroundZone” from the second dropdown. Set the name to “NOCAZONE2” and press START. Both players are now in game.

Your ready to investigate and play around 🙂 Use the portals and traverse to the other server!
